About Me

Updated: Oct 6, 2022

Hi! If you've landed on this page, welcome! I'm so glad you are here. You might be looking to improve your health, but quite haven't found a way that works for your lifestyle and are perusing to see what this nurse coaching is all about? Is it nursing? Is it life coaching? Yes... and maybe you have a chronic disease or are just looking to lose a few pounds. In either case, I just might be the person you're looking for to help you on this journey to health and wellness.

So a little bit about me: I am licensed registered nurse in the great state of California since 2012. You can look me up in the registry to make sure. I'm also a certified health and wellness nurse coach, holistic nurse, public health nurse, diabetes care & education specialist, as well as a Yoga Teacher (RYT-200). Yup, that's 5 certifications that I have to keep up with. Before all of those certifications though, I got my Bachelor's degree in Psychology & Social Behavior from UC Irvine, a Master's in Global Health from Loma Linda University, and my Master's in Nursing from UC San Francisco. You can say I have a passion from learning and that both mental and physical health have always been on my focus.

My journey into health started when I got a routine blood test in college and found that my cholesterol was sky high! I learned that it runs on both sides of my families just like diabetes, ADHD, and some auto-immune and endocrine disorders. After doing some exercise, diet, and lifestyle changes, I was able to get my cholesterol in normal range. But it's never ending work, and some days I don't do so well, but I continue to try to practice what I learn and teach. If you're looking to invest in your health so that you can feel better and live your best life, then maybe I might be the right partner for you. If you want to give it a try, give me a call for a free 30-minute telephone or consultation.

Outside of my private practice doing nurse coaching, I also work part-time as a clinical nurse in Specialties Clinic for the City & County of San Francisco Department of Public Health, and as a Certified Diabetes Care & Education Specialist doing insulin technology trainings for insulin pump and continuous glucose monitors for patients living with diabetes. I love my work and my practice and hope to share that passion with you as well. I wish you health, wellness, and happiness!
